Memories

Here is a journal I made using an old book cover. This journal contains all my childhood memories, including photographs and memorabilia. I used Gesso and a brick template on the cover, then adorned with flowers.

The pages are formed by making up signatures (several sheets folded) then sewn into the recycled book cover.

Above you can see that I did use the machine for stitching on my pages, I did this before sewing any of the signatures into the cover. I really enjoyed making this journal, I was able to use so many different types of embellishments!!

"Happy Fathers Day"

"Happy Fathers Day" to all the Dad's out there. I created this layout for Josh to give to his Dad!! I love cogs so hence they are the embellishment. The brick background was done using a Stencil, Gesso, and Glimmer Mist. The journaling is very special and appropriate for Fathers Day!!
